Yuan Zun Manga tells the story of the struggle between the two powerful Wu and Zhou clans. Fifteen years ago, the Zhou dynasty ruled the country. But vassals from the Wu clan rebelled and crushed their overlords. Yuan’s father challenged Emperor Wu to a duel but lost the fight after losing an arm.  Within a year, the Zhou fell into decline. But Emperor Wu did not make open attempts to attack because he firmly believed in the prophecy.  It said that the Zhou clan would die when the python defeated the dragon. He was preparing a grand conspiracy to steal the destiny and good fortune of the holy dragon.

On one day, Empress Wu had a son with the essence of a python. And Empress Zhou had a son with the essence of a dragon with its 8 elements, comprehending light and energy. These eight elements allowed the dragon to be controlled. But the villains stole the boy’s good fortune and poisoned him with dragon poison, destroying the 8 elements. The parents did everything they could to keep the child alive. The mother kept her son alive by giving him her blood herself while losing her life force…

And the Wu clan would have unrestricted power, and the Zhou clan would die out. The young man finally understood the truth and figured out what he wanted. He would do everything possible and impossible to revive the Zhou Dynasty despite the lack of luck and the 8 elements ruling the dragon.

He concentrated on his studies , began to study the literature on the ways of the dragon and despite the lack of 8 elements he surpassed all students and tempered his soul. The boy’s father encouraged his son. He told him that it was possible to find the 8 elements, regain his strength and defeat the Wu clan. He led him to the tower where there was a secret luck room that could bring the family back to glory and power. Many ancestors tried to open it, but all failed. At the holy altar, Yuan as a representative of the Zhou clan voiced his story and suddenly disappears and finds himself in an unfamiliar area. There he meets a mysterious elder who revives him with the 8 elements and teaches him a series of techniques that endow him with strength and the ability to fight.
