The Updater manga is about Aiden’s journey into computer reality and overcoming its obstacles. The computer system found a local error and deleted it. Aiden, a blacksmith living in this location, can’t figure out what disaster has befallen them. Operators, moderators, players, free people and mystical creatures revolve in this system.  The system selects players who hunt for magical creatures. People were grateful to them for saving them. But then the players changed and started hurting people. The reason for this was the moderator of the system.

If someone went against the rules, was branded BAG and during the update or check such people were removed. During the checks all froze, and he and Ellis could move. The most important thing for them was to stay alive. However, the system made a mistake and deleted them. The search engine identified Aiden as a dangerous object, capable of turning into a dangerous virus. So it is decided to remove him.

But it turned out to be a mistake, he was returned and was given the properties of a level 1.moderator with access to the command line. But to survive, he must complete quests and avoid Bugs. The first quests proved so difficult that he thought about quitting the game. But he was a man of persistence and perseverance and he got through the tasks. In doing so, he increased his level, improved his characteristics, acquired new abilities.

He considered his great achievement to be liberation from the system and freeing a small village from the Bugs.  But his unorthodox actions brought the danger of Bugs upon himself. And the system began to hunt him down to remove him. What awaits him in the vastness of computer reality, you will find out by reading the Updater manga.
