Ranker Who Lives A Second Time shortly: is about Eunwoo and his adventures. The setting for the story is the Obelisk or Tower where all the events of the novella take place. Nobody knows who and when built the Tower, apart from the fact that it exists for at least more than a thousand years. One  as such has an ancient history of all the different worlds, planets and dimensions. But according to legend the Tower is a mysterious building created by the Sun God.  Gods, demons, and other mysterious figures inhabit its floors. The gods live on the 98th floor.  People come to the tower to improve their own powers and abilities.  They  said that whoever climbs the tower and reaches its end will become a god. This is where the events of the short story take place.

The main character, Eun-woo, is a boy with a difficult fate. His father died a long time ago and his mother fell ill with a deadly disease when he was a teenager. Then his younger brother went missing. He was very attached to his brother and lived with his disappearance for 7 years. But one day he found his missing relative’s pocket watch. There he saw a hidden note from which he learns that his brother had gone to the Obelisk Tower to get medicine for his mother. The tower is somewhere in the universe.  The note warned that if anyone reads it, it means his brother isn’t alive. So Yeon-woo learns that his brother is dead.  Ones betrayed and killed in the tower.
