She did not believe that man  without magic could save her. But the mages noticed the ring as Isabella did. When she lose last remnants of her magical powers she takes on human form.

Xiang-E is the central character  of the story. He is a man of the earth and I otherworldly forces summoning him to save the queen. Xiang-E received bachelor’s degree at the age of 14., he wanted to study but found himself in the role of rescuer. When he saw the hostile Isabella, he  bewildered as to how he can help her. He has no magic or borderline power, so he could not be a fighter.

Gradually, as time passes and they often find themselves in extreme situations, they learn to trust and help each other and become close people. She realizes that he is clever  and very skill . Xiang Ye cares very much for Isabella. And she feels obligated to help her to get her kingdom back.
