Dr. Stone

Dr. Stone manga shortly: about two friends determined to lead civilization out of crisis and save the world. Humanity ceased to exist in a blinding flash of light. Several thousand years have passed, and only stone statues point to what was once a living nature.

It all began on a momentous day when an ordinary student named Taiju decides to declare his love for his girlfriend Yuzurikha.  They meet under a tree, but suddenly a strange light illuminates everything around them. People don’t understand the nature and origin of the light, which turns everything to stone. Taijiu tries to save Yuzurikha by shielding her with himself, but all in vain. The light intensifies and turns all people into stone statues. Despite turning into a statue, Taijiu manages to retain his sanity.

His overwhelming desire to save the girl he loves helps him get out of the stone captivity. How glad he was when he woke up from years of sleep to find out that his old and loyal friend Senku also woke up. He also managed to cast off his stone shell, counting every second of his existence…In confusion and disarray they look around and see that the old world is not here. They don’t understand where they are. The planet has changed beyond recognition. And in their mind, only an instant has passed, not thousands of years!

Dr. Stone manga brief description: 

They understand that they are the only ones who can help bringing civilization back. According to their plan, only science can be the impetus for rebirth. They started working on the stone-shell solvent, nital. And they succeeded in obtaining it. And of course first they wanted to free Yuzurikha. But the lions that escaped from the zoo prevented them from doing so. So they used the Intal to free Tsukase Shishio. He is a high school student with tremendous strength who easily defeated the tigers. Senku gets more intal and they free Yuzurihu.

The next thing they learn is that Tsukasa destroys stone statues of adults, thereby killing them. He believes that only teenagers and children deserve to be safe. Thus begins a confrontation between two clans: the Senku Kingdom of Science and the mighty Tsukasa Empire. You can find out how it ends by reading the Dr. Stone manga.
