A manga series co-written by Kodachi Ukyo and Ikemoto Mikio in the shonen genre, replacing Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki is a young bulliing shinobi. A walking magnet for trouble. He had come a long way, achieving what he so fiercely desired. The becoming the Hokage, the strongest ninja of the Village of the Leaves. Once upon a time Naruto and Sasuke together defeated Kaguya. The greatest threat the ninja world has ever faced. Now a new generation living in peace. And Naruto’s face is immortalizing on top of the Hokage monument.  However, this story is not about him.

The ninja adventures continue with Boruto: Naruto Next Generations! For years the boy didn’t know who his parents were. But the adults of the village who knew the truth shunned. And despised him because of the demon imprisoned inside.  He inherited his father’s exuberant, boisterous temper. But has no intention of following in his footsteps.  Naruto wanted to achieve everyone’s recognition and respect by all means. He has tenacity and stubbornness since childhood. However, the ultimate goal of his life is significant – to become the greatest ninja of his village – the Hokage.

The world has changed greatly. Along with peace and tranquility came modern television. And also skyscrapers, air conditioning, trains, and more to Konoha. To keep up with the times, Boruto enrolls in a ninja academy to learn the ways of the shinobi.   The shinobi haven’t gone anywhere, but their lives have also changed dramatically. A new generation of ninja is ready to take the stage, led by Naruto’s son, Boruto. Boruto and his friends are to investigate a series of mysterious events taking place in the village. Like the wind sweeping between the leaves. He makes his way to everyone’s heart – his story begins!

On  the base of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga directors Noriyuki Abe and Hiroyuki Yamashita, along with series creator Ukyo Kodachi and screenwriter Makoto Uezu, made an anime film.  It premiered on April 5, 2017 on TV Tokyo.
